Ingrim Street

On Ingrim St. I long to be
Whether sun it glistens or rain it sleeks
On roofs of tin, tiles or slate
In the sweet sun or when the moons a plate
I Dance on rooftops while I lie in bed,
Cut daydream crops where I lay down my head,
On Ingrim St.

I’m sure you’ve heard maybe you’ve seen,
In a fairytale or your reality,
We all know of some princess,
In ragged rags or silken dress,
I love you when you smile that way,
I want you when you cry and say I love you,
On Ingrim St.
